I go here for lunch at least once a week! The lunch specials are THAT good! The daily homemade gnocchi is amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive, always making sure that you get the best service possible.

Do yourself a favour and just hire Steve. He and his colleagues are nothing short of amazing. Showed up on time, with all the staff he needed. For the second year in a row, Black Apron Cuisine hosted the Christmas party for our office staff. The menu was a fabulous selection of appetizers, followed by a warm buffet of main dishes and of course, the sensational desserts! The presentation was exquisite and the food was excellent, with a wide variety that satisfied everyone's palate. Special care was taken to make sure potential allergens were noted and everyone could safely enjoy the selections. Steve and Juan kept up a constant flow of food, paced just right, and served with a smile. Their obvious enjoyment in preparing and serving a great meal came through in their attitudes, adding to the fun of the party. We can all highly recommend their services for any special

occasion.

Dinner on December 28th, 2008 was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. You both were so welcoming to our family (children & adults alike) and seemed to be having fun too. We just sat & enjoyed every mouthful. Each dish was so inviting, looked fabulous & tasted so good. Even special food concerns were attended to. The salads, both Romaine hearts & greens with tomato & buffalo mozzarella, were just wetting the appetite of what was to come. Next, 3 pasta dishes were served which were to die for especially the house made gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. The roasted tomato pasta infused with balsamic vinegar & the wild mushroom tagliatelle were devoured with great enthusiasm. The main course was a special tasting treat of rack of lamb, jumbo scallops, prawns & duck breast accompanied by wonderful complimentary sauces. To finish off this incredible meal was crème Brule & a divine chocolate & nut shortbread tart with a caramel sauce. All this work & prep was done so efficiently, indiscriminately & served so graciously. The highlight for any hostess/host is the spic & span way in which one's kitchen is left. You would never know that a short while ago one's kitchen was one of great preparation, cooking & serving.

Thank-you both for capping off our 40th anniversary day with this truly wonderful meal. You managed all with such ease & pleasure. I am happily recommending your talents to friends.

We have experienced two occasions on which we have had Stephen Grant cater for us. Steve came into our home and hosted a cooking class for ourselves and 3 couples and we all had an outstanding time. Steve showed how to prepare and make fresh gnocchi, an array of vinaigrettes, rack of lamb and crème brulee. He did it with patience, professionalism and humour! He let us enjoy our evening and we had a spic and span kitchen at the end. He even printed out the recipes and menu, how thoughtful. We again had Steve and Juan to our house for an amazing meal he described as family platter style. It was exactly what we were thinking of and it was exquisite from beginning to end. We would highly recommend Black Apron Cuisine to anyone wanting a dinner party, cooking class, a tasters menu. Just an exceptional evening in all.

My husband and I have used Black Apron Cuisine for two of our previous Christmas functions. The selection, flavour and quality of all of the hors d'ouevres was top notch and the service from Stephen and Juan was both professional and non intrusive. We worked with Black Apron to build a memorable evening for our dinner guests. Black Apron provided excellent suggestions for food and wine pairings, they were easy to work with and flexible. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and they were extremely accommodating when some of our guests arrived late. A 5 star, 6 course meal in my very own dining room and the best part is I didn't have to do any dishes at the end of the night! Steve met with us to discuss a menu catering to everyone's personal tastes. He made some wonderful suggestions and guided us to come up with an incredible menu. On the day of the party, they arrived promptly and got right to work! By the time my guests arrived they had transformed my dining room into an elegant restaurant. My guests were stunned by the masterful presentation of each course and couldn't wait for the next! It was nothing short of exquisite. They are truly a professional team. Oh my God is all I have to say about the dinner we had on Saturday night. It was amazing!!! I've been to a lot of different high-end and regular restaurants and this is probably the best meal I've ever had, and the way that Steve and Juan presented it was so professional. Stephen and Juan catered a dinner party for me to help my family and I celebrate our Parents 40th wedding anniversary. I was given Stephen's name from a friend of mine- what an amazing referral! I was so impressed by the planning and careful consideration Stephen gave to the evening. We were even provided with wine pairings for each course. My Girlfriend and I hosted a party of 14 people and the whole evening with the Black Apron Cuisine was fabulous. Everyone at my house really enjoyed the food and service Steve and Juan provided. The guys just went beyond what was expected. As the host, I didnt have to do anything only to enjoy my night. And that I did! Our guests were just amazed and were asking about booking the Black Apron Cuisine for their own upcoming events. The taste of every dish was amazing, the presentation exceeded my expectations, drinks and food were being served, it felt so nice to relax in my own house. the food was outstanding! We received many comments from our guests about how amazing it was, and I am certain you could tell by the quantity eaten that it was a hit. I was very pleased with the selections, and I forgot to mention that I absolutely loved the duck confit and smoked cheddar cannelloni - it was one of my favorite things. I also thought the veal cheeks with roasted cipoline onion were amazing.

Steve and Juan provide exceptional service with an absolutely phenomenal taste. I have been fortunate to experience this on several occassions and each time they surpass my expectations.

The dinner provided for our ladies' group was excellent; but was even more enjoyable because it all happened in the comfort of home. Not only did they provide the fantastic meal, they paired wine with our food as well. In the end, they left our home as if the kitchen had not been touched and our taste buds buzzing and desiring more. The gnocchi was a crowd favourite, something I will be ordering again in the near future.

I would highly recommend these very professional and talented gentleman for any occasion. They provide a diverse menu that pleases any individual's taste.

During the past several months I have had the opportunity to use the services of Black Apron cuisine for many of my weekly meal requirements. I particularly enjoy the variety of delicious, healthy food selections available and the fact that they are willing to accommodate individual food requests for my family and for special occasions.

Each food item is prepared with care and seasoned to perfection. They can be easily stored in the freezer. Items that are vacuum packed and conveniently labeled can be pulled out and used at a moments notice. Also, the desserts are especially delicious! My order is delivered directly to my home by the courteous, reliable, staff. Thank you to everyone at Black Apron Cuisine for helping me through busy time schedules and assisting me with your amazing meal preparations.

We recently had Stephen cook a five-course meal for ten at our home. As this was the second time we were able to enjoy Stephens talents, I had two requests his smoked cheddar risotto and a dessert trio. Stephen created the rest of the menu and was even kind enough to pick up the wines for us.

The meal was outstanding from the arugula, tomato and goats cheese salad with quail egg to the desserts including vanilla bean, poached pear and lemon curd cheesecake, dark chocolate and raspberry mousse tower, and chocolate caramel hazelnut tart. The house made lobster and ricotta ravioli with seared scallop was wonderful, as was the homemade bread, and the seared beef tenderloin medallion with wild mushroom bread pudding.

Stephen and his assistant, Charissa, were well organized and efficient. Best of all, when they had finished, my kitchen was absolutely spotless. Our guests were delighted with the evening and we look forward to another occasion when we can call upon Stephen again. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner!,

Our July Board meeting breakfast and lunch was a great success, thanks to Black Apron Cuisine!! From the moment I met with Juan, to the end of our event, everything was done with the utmost perfection. The menu had every detail in mind and the food, DELICIOUS, to say the least! The Directors were beyond amazed at the professionalism and service provided by both Juan and Stephen, and could not stop complimenting them (and us, for choosing Black Apron) on a job well done. I wished to do something special for my 60th birthday celebration and my friend recommended Black Apron Cuisine. I called and booked them to prepare and evening of fine dining for my family at my home. Steve and Juan met with me to choose a menu and confirm the date. We decided on a five course meal taking into consideration different food likes and dislikes and allergies.

Seven of us relaxed in the living room over champagne and appetizers whilst Steve and Juan used their culinary expertise to prepare the most exquisite meal we have ever tasted. At the dining table over a selection of desserts, including warm Bernard Callebaut chocolate tart with cognac pearls, we all agreed that this meal would go down in Family History. Our dining experience was far superior to any five star restaurant.

My celebration was an evening of total relaxation and nurturing, in the comfort of home, with these two gentleman treating us like Royalty. I am now busy trying to think up another occasion when I can invite Steve and Juan back!.
